คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น จัดพิธีเปิดอาคารเรียนใหม่ของโรงเรียนสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ฝ่ายประถมศึกษา อย่างเป็นทางการ เมื่อวันที่ 5 มีนาคม 2569 โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก รศ.นพ.ชาญชัย พานทองวิริยะกุล อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เป็นประธานในพิธี พร้อมด้วย นายสุรพล เพชรวรา อุปนายกสภามหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น และ รศ.ดร.อิศรา ก้านจักร คณบดีคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ ร่วมต้อนรับคณะผู้บริหารและแขกผู้มีเกียรติจากหน่วยงานภายในและภายนอกมหาวิทยาลัย พิธีการเปิดอาคารใหม่ในครั้งนี้ถือเป็นหมุดหมายสำคัญที่สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นในการจัดการศึกษาที่ทันสมัยและปลอดภัย เพื่อรองรับการเติบโตของนักเรียนกว่า 1,925 คน ในสภาพแวดล้อมที่เอื้อต่อการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกอย่างเต็มรูปแบบ
การพัฒนาอาคารเรียนแห่งนี้เป็นการสานต่อเจตนารมณ์นับตั้งแต่เริ่มก่อตั้งโรงเรียนสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ในปี พ.ศ. 2513 โดย ดร.สายสุรี จุติกุล คณบดีคนแรก ที่มุ่งเน้นให้โรงเรียนสาธิตฯ เป็น “พื้นที่ทดลองทางวิชาการ” ที่มีความยืดหยุ่นและเป็นต้นแบบนวัตกรรมการเรียนรู้ ซึ่ง รศ.นพ.ชาญชัย พานทองวิริยะกุล อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้เน้นย้ำถึงวิสัยทัศน์ว่า อาคารเรียนหลังนี้ถูกสร้างขึ้นเพื่อให้เป็นมากกว่าแค่สถานที่เรียน แต่คือ “พื้นที่สร้างแรงบันดาลใจ” ที่จะช่วยเสริมสร้างประสบการณ์ที่หลากหลาย บ่มเพาะทักษะชีวิต และเตรียมความพร้อมให้เยาวชนเติบโตเป็นพลเมืองโลกที่มีคุณภาพและมีความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมในอนาคต
อาคารเรียนหลังนี้สำเร็จลุล่วงด้วยงบประมาณก่อสร้างกว่า 224,000,000 บาท ประกอบด้วยพื้นที่ใช้สอยรวม 206 ห้อง รวมถึงห้องเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1-6 จำนวน 54 ห้อง โดยใช้ระยะเวลาก่อสร้างรวมกว่า 4 ปี นับเป็นผลลัพธ์จากความร่วมมืออย่างเข้มแข็งระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัย คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ คณาจารย์ สมาคมศิษย์เก่า และเครือข่ายผู้ปกครอง ที่ร่วมแรงร่วมใจสนับสนุนจนอาคารนี้กลายเป็นศูนย์กลางการเรียนรู้ที่เพียบพร้อมด้วยเทคโนโลยีและพื้นที่สร้างสรรค์กิจกรรมตามแนวทาง “โรงเรียนนวัตกรรม”
การเปิดอาคารเรียนใหม่ของโรงเรียนสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ฝ่ายประถมศึกษา เป็นภาพสะท้อนของการยกระดับคุณภาพการศึกษาที่ยั่งยืน โดยการส่งมอบพื้นที่การเรียนรู้ที่ช่วยส่งเสริมสมรรถนะผู้เรียนในทุกมิติ ความพร้อมทางกายภาพที่สอดประสานกับนวัตกรรมการจัดการเรียนการสอนนี้ จะเป็นรากฐานสำคัญในการบ่มเพาะเยาวชนให้มีความรู้คู่คุณธรรม พร้อมที่จะสร้างสรรค์สิ่งดี ๆ ให้กับสังคมสืบไป สอดคล้องกับวิสัยทัศน์ของคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ และมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ในการขับเคลื่อนนวัตกรรมเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนระดับสากล
A Major Milestone Toward Future Learning Spaces: ED KKU Officially Opens New Elementary Demonstration School Building, Creating a Next-Generation Learning Ecosystem
The Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, officially held the opening ceremony for the new building of the Demonstration School of Khon Kaen University (Elementary Level) on March 5, 2026. The ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, alongside Mr. Surapon Phetvara, Vice Chairman of the Khon Kaen University Council, and Assoc. Prof. Issara Kanjug, Dean of the Faculty of Education, who welcomed executives and distinguished guests from both internal and external organizations. The inauguration of this new facility marks a significant milestone, reflecting a steadfast commitment to providing modern and safe education to support the growth of over 1,925 students within an environment conducive to comprehensive active learning.
The development of this building continues the legacy established since the founding of the Demonstration School in 1970 by Dr. Saisuree Chutikul, the first Dean, who envisioned the school as an “Academic Sandbox”—a flexible space serving as a prototype for educational innovation. Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul emphasized this vision, noting that the building was designed to be more than just a place of study; it is an “Inspirational Space” that enriches diverse experiences, nurtures life skills, and prepares youth to become quality global citizens with a sense of social responsibility for the future.
Completed with a construction budget of over 224,000,000 THB, the facility features a total of 206 functional rooms, including 54 smart classrooms for Grades 1-6. This four-year project is the result of a strong collaboration between the university, the Faculty of Education, faculty members, the Alumni Association, and the Parent-Teacher network. Together, they have supported the transformation of this building into a learning hub equipped with advanced technology and creative spaces, following the “Innovative School” model.
The opening of the new building for the Demonstration School of Khon Kaen University (Elementary Level) reflects the advancement of sustainable educational quality by providing learning spaces that enhance student competencies in all dimensions. This physical readiness, integrated with innovative teaching and learning methods, serves as a vital foundation for nurturing youth with both knowledge and ethics. They are prepared to contribute positively to society, aligning with the vision of the Faculty of Education and Khon Kaen University to drive innovation for global sustainable development.
