8 มกราคม 2569 – คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น โดย สาขาวิชาการศึกษาปฐมวัยและประถมศึกษา นำนักศึกษาครูชั้นปีที่ 3 เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมปฐมนิเทศและอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการในโครงการ “English PreBoot” ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดย บริติช เคานซิล ประเทศไทย (British Council Thailand) ร่วมกับ สำนักงานเลขาธิการคุรุสภา เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการสอนภาษาอังกฤษรูปแบบ Hybrid เตรียมความพร้อมสู่การเป็นครูมืออาชีพที่มีสมรรถนะการจัดการเรียนรู้ที่ทันสมัย
โครงการ English PreBoot มีเป้าหมายสำคัญในการเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาครูได้เข้าถึงองค์ความรู้และเทคนิคการสอนภาษาอังกฤษแบบ Active Learning ที่เน้นความสนุกสนานและสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ได้จริง หลักสูตรถูกออกแบบครอบคลุมทั้งทักษะการฟัง พูด อ่าน เขียน รวมถึงเทคนิคการสอนคำศัพท์และไวยากรณ์ผ่านกิจกรรมที่หลากหลาย ซึ่งจะช่วยยกระดับสมรรถนะของว่าที่ครูให้มีความเป็นเลิศในการจัดการศึกษา
กิจกรรมในโครงการดำเนินการในรูปแบบ Hybrid Learning ประกอบด้วยการอบรม Onsite เพื่อปูพื้นฐาน การเรียนรู้ผ่านระบบ Online Self-access และ Zoom Live Session ต่อเนื่องเป็นเวลา 6 สัปดาห์ ตลอดช่วงเดือนมกราคมถึงกุมภาพันธ์ นอกจากนี้ นักศึกษายังจะได้รับโอกาสในการฝึกปฏิบัติการสอนจริงในกิจกรรม “English Teaching Camp” ช่วงเดือนมีนาคม 2569 ซึ่งเป็นเวทีที่ให้นักศึกษาได้ทดลองใช้กิจกรรมการสอนที่หลากหลายในบรรยากาศการเรียนรู้เสมือนจริง ก่อนที่จะเข้าสู่ช่วงฝึกปฏิบัติการสอนในสถานศึกษา
การเข้าร่วมโครงการในครั้งนี้ นับเป็นประโยชน์อย่างยิ่งต่อนักศึกษา ในการพัฒนาทักษะทางภาษาและเทคนิคการสอน พร้อมทั้งบ่มเพาะความมั่นใจและการเป็น “นวัตกรทางการศึกษา” ที่พร้อมสร้างความเปลี่ยนแปลง การได้รับองค์ความรู้จากสถาบันชั้นนำระดับโลกจะช่วยให้นักศึกษาสามารถสร้างบทเรียนที่มีความหมายและเข้าถึงความต้องการของผู้เรียนในยุคปัจจุบันได้อย่างเท่าเทียมและมีคุณภาพ สอดคล้องกับพันธกิจของคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ในการส่งเสริมการผลิตบัณฑิตที่มีทักษะแห่งอนาคต เพื่อยกระดับมาตรฐานวิชาชีพครูไทยให้ก้าวไกลอย่างยั่งยืน
Faculty of Education, KKU joins “English PreBoot” project by British Council and Khurusapha, aiming to enhance Hybrid English teaching competencies to international standards
January 8, 2026 – The Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, led by the Early Childhood and Elementary Education Programs, brought 3rd-year student teachers to participate in the orientation and workshop for the “English PreBoot” project. Organized by the British Council Thailand in collaboration with the Teachers’ Council of Thailand (Khurusapha), this initiative aims to develop Hybrid English teaching skills and prepare students to become professional teachers with modern learning management competencies.
The English PreBoot project aims to provide student teachers with access to knowledge and “Active Learning” English teaching techniques that are engaging and practical. The curriculum is designed to cover comprehensive skills, including listening, speaking, reading, writing, as well as vocabulary and grammar teaching techniques through diverse activities. This will elevate the competencies of future teachers to achieve excellence in education management.
The project activities operate on a Hybrid Learning model, consisting of onsite training to lay the foundation, self-learning via an Online Self-access system, and Zoom Live Sessions continuously for 6 weeks from January to February. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to practice actual teaching in the “English Teaching Camp” in March 2026, allowing them to experiment with various teaching activities in a virtual learning environment before entering their school practicum.
Participating in this project is highly beneficial for students in developing language skills and teaching techniques, while also cultivating confidence and the spirit of being an “Educational Innovator” ready to create change. Gaining knowledge from world-class institutions will enable students to create meaningful lessons that meet the needs of modern learners equitably and with quality. This aligns with the mission of the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, to promote the production of graduates with future skills and elevate the standards of the Thai teaching profession sustainably.
