เมื่อวันที่ 3-5 พฤศจิกายน 2568 ณ บริเวณบึงสีฐาน มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้มีการจัดงาน ลอยกระทง มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น สีฐานเฟสติวัล นานาชาติ 2025 (Si Than Festival International 2025) ซึ่งเป็นกิจกรรมสืบสานวัฒนธรรมไทยและสร้างความร่วมมือทางวัฒนธรรมกับนานาชาติ ภายในงานมีกิจกรรมหลากหลาย อาทิ การประกวดกระทงใหญ่สร้างสรรค์ การประกวดนางนพมาศนานาชาติ และการแสดงศิลปวัฒนธรรมจากประเทศต่าง ๆ
โดยจากผลงานดังกล่าวสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงการผสมผสานระหว่างความคิดสร้างสรรค์กับอัตลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรมได้อย่างงดงาม มีความโดดเด่นทั้งด้าน การออกแบบ การประดิษฐ์ การร้อยเรียงเนื้อหาเชิงสัญลักษณ์ และการแสดงประกอบขบวน ที่แสดงออกถึงความร่วมแรงร่วมใจ ความรับผิดชอบ และความเป็นผู้นำของนักศึกษาคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ได้อย่างชัดเจน โดยมีนักศึกษาร่วมในกิจกรรมกว่า 200 คน
นอกจากนี้ นักศึกษายังได้แสดงให้เห็นถึง สมรรถนะและคุณลักษณะสำคัญของครูในอนาคต ได้แก่
• สมรรถนะด้านการทำงานเป็นทีมและภาวะผู้นำ (Teamwork and Leadership Competency)
• สมรรถนะด้านความคิดสร้างสรรค์และนวัตกรรม (Creativity and Innovation Competency)
• สมรรถนะด้านการสื่อสารและการนำเสนออย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ (Communication and Presentation Competency)
• คุณลักษณะอันพึงประสงค์ของบัณฑิตศึกษาศาสตร์ เช่น ความเสียสละ ความมีวินัย ความรับผิดชอบ ความภาคภูมิใจในความเป็นไทย และจิตสาธารณะ
รางวัลนี้ถือเป็นอีกหนึ่งความภาคภูมิใจของคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ที่สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงศักยภาพของนักศึกษาครูรุ่นใหม่ในการสืบสานวัฒนธรรม พร้อมทั้งประยุกต์องค์ความรู้ทางการศึกษาเข้ากับการสร้างสรรค์กิจกรรมเพื่อชุมชนและสังคมอย่างมีคุณค่า รวมไปถึงการสนับสนุนอย่างดีจากท่านคณบดี คณะผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ และศิษย์เก่า
Faculty of Education Student Club Wins 1st Prize for Creative Grand Krathong Procession and Creative Carnival Float at Si Than Festival International 2025, Khon Kaen University
November 3-5, 2025, at Si Than Lake, Khon Kaen University – Khon Kaen University hosted the “Si Than Festival International 2025” Loy Krathong event, an activity dedicated to preserving Thai culture and fostering cultural cooperation with international partners. The festival featured a variety of activities, including the Creative Grand Krathong Procession competition, the International Nang Noppamas (Beauty Queen) contest, and cultural performances from various countries.
The winning entries from the Faculty of Education’s student club beautifully reflected a harmonious blend of creativity and cultural identity. They stood out in terms of design, craftsmanship, symbolic narrative, and the accompanying procession performance. These achievements clearly demonstrated the collaborative spirit, responsibility, and leadership qualities of over 200 participating students from the Faculty of Education.
Furthermore, the students showcased key competencies and characteristics vital for future teachers, including:
- Teamwork and Leadership Competency
- Creativity and Innovation Competency
- Communication and Effective Presentation Competency
- Desirable attributes of Education graduates, such as sacrifice, discipline, responsibility, pride in Thai identity, and public consciousness.
This award represents another source of pride for the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University. It reflects the potential of new-generation teacher students to preserve culture while applying educational knowledge to create valuable activities for the community and society. This success was also made possible by the excellent support from the Dean, executive board, faculty members, and alumni.
