15 สิงหาคม 2568 – คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้ลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MOU) ร่วมกับ Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE) สถาบันชั้นนำด้านการศึกษาปฐมวัยแห่งฮ่องกง เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพการจัดการศึกษาและสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมการเรียนรู้สำหรับเด็กปฐมวัยสู่มาตรฐานสากล
พิธีลงนามในครั้งนี้มี รศ.ดร.อิศรา ก้านจักร คณบดีคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น และ ศ.เคอร์รี ลี อธิการบดี Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education เป็นผู้ร่วมลงนาม และได้รับเกียรติจาก นายจาตุรนต์ ไชยะคำ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองฮ่องกง ให้เกียรติเป็นสักขีพยาน สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความมุ่งมั่นในการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือที่แข็งแกร่งในระดับนานาชาติ
ภายใต้กรอบความร่วมมือดังกล่าว ทั้งสองสถาบันจะร่วมกันผลักดันกิจกรรมทางวิชาการที่หลากหลาย ครอบคลุมทั้งการพัฒนารายวิชาร่วมสมัย, การจัดอบรมเพื่อเสริมสร้างศักยภาพของคณาจารย์และบุคลากรทางการศึกษา, การส่งเสริมการวิจัยร่วมเพื่อสร้างองค์ความรู้และนวัตกรรมใหม่ๆ ตลอดจนการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาในระยะสั้น เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้สัมผัสประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้ข้ามวัฒนธรรมและพัฒนาทักษะที่จำเป็นสำหรับโลกอนาคต
ความร่วมมือครั้งนี้นับเป็นก้าวสำคัญที่สอดคล้องกับวิสัยทัศน์ของคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ในการเป็น “คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ชั้นนำระดับอาเซียนที่มุ่งเน้นนวัตกรรมการศึกษาเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน” โดยการผนึกกำลังกับสถาบันชั้นนำอย่าง YCCECE จะช่วยเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งทางวิชาการ ผลิตบัณฑิตครูปฐมวัยที่เป็นนวัตกร และสร้างองค์ความรู้ที่สามารถนำไปพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษาของประเทศได้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
Faculty of Education, KKU, Signs MOU with YCCECE Hong Kong to Foster Innovation in Early Childhood Education
August 15, 2025 – The Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE), a leading institution in early childhood education from Hong Kong. The collaboration aims to elevate the quality of education management and create learning innovations for young children to meet international standards.
The signing ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Kanjug, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, and Prof. Kerry Lee, President of Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education, who co-signed the agreement. The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Jaturon Chaiyakham, Consul-General of Thailand in Hong Kong, who served as a witness, reflecting a strong commitment to building a robust international cooperation network.
Under this framework of cooperation, both institutions will collaboratively promote a variety of academic activities. These include the development of contemporary joint courses, training programs to enhance the capabilities of faculty members and educational personnel, the promotion of joint research to create new knowledge and innovations, as well as short-term student exchanges. This will provide students with opportunities for cross-cultural learning experiences and the development of essential future skills.
This partnership marks a significant step in alignment with the Faculty of Education’s vision to be a “leading faculty in ASEAN focusing on educational innovation for sustainable development”. By joining forces with a leading institution like YCCECE, the faculty will strengthen its academic capacity, produce innovative early childhood education graduates, and generate knowledge that can be concretely applied to improve the nation’s quality of education.
