7 พฤษภาคม 2569 – ณ คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น นำโดย รศ.ดร.จารุณี ซามาตย์ รองคณบดีฝ่ายการศึกษา พร้อมด้วย รศ.ดร.พรสวรรค์ วงค์ตาธรรม รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม และ ผศ.ดร.ณัฐพล มีแก้ว ผู้ช่วยคณบดีฝ่ายการจัดการเครือข่ายและการต่างประเทศ ร่วมกับ ผศ.ดร.วัชรา สุยะรา ประธานหลักสูตรการสอนภาษาญี่ปุ่น และ นางสาวณัฐรดี พิมพ์ศรีสิงห์ ศึกษานิเทศก์ชำนาญการพิเศษ สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาขอนแก่น เขต 1 ให้การต้อนรับ Mr. Takamasa TANIMURA เลขานุการเอก สถานเอกอัครราชทูตญี่ปุ่นประจำประเทศไทย และ Ms. Ai CHUMAN ผู้แทนจากกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ วัฒนธรรม กีฬา วิทยาศาสตร์ และเทคโนโลยีแห่งประเทศญี่ปุ่น (MEXT) ในโอกาสร่วมหารือและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลเชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินงานกิจกรรมพิเศษเพื่อพัฒนาผู้เรียนแบบองค์รวม หรือ “Tokkatsu”
การมาเยือนในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อรวบรวมข้อมูลการดำเนินงาน Tokkatsu ในโรงเรียนพื้นที่จังหวัดขอนแก่น รวมถึงภายในมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ที่มีการนำแนวคิดดังกล่าวไปปรับใช้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม โดยกระทรวง MEXT ประเทศญี่ปุ่น อยู่ระหว่างการพิจารณาส่งเสริมแง่มุมเชิงบวกของการศึกษาแบบญี่ปุ่นในต่างประเทศ เพื่อเป็นแนวทางสำคัญในการกำหนดทิศทางการศึกษาระดับสากลในอนาคตหลังปี 2030 (Post-2030) ผ่านการหารือใน 3 ประเด็นหลัก ได้แก่ 1) ความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างการปฏิบัติ Tokkatsu ในพื้นที่และบทบาทสนับสนุนของมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น 2) ที่มาของการนำ Tokkatsu เข้าสู่ระบบการศึกษาไทย และ 3) สถานการณ์ปัจจุบันพร้อมวางแผนขับเคลื่อนในระดับประเทศ
นอกจากนี้ ยังได้มีการนำเสนอการประยุกต์ใช้ Tokkatsu เพื่อสร้างจิตสำนึกพื้นฐานในการปลูกฝังค่านิยมความซื่อสัตย์และต้านทุจริตให้แก่เยาวชน ซึ่งข้อมูลเชิงลึกจากการหารือในครั้งนี้จะถูกนำไปใช้เป็นฐานข้อมูลสำคัญสำหรับรัฐบาลญี่ปุ่นในการพัฒนาแนวทางการศึกษาแบบองค์รวมในระดับนานาชาติต่อไป
สำหรับ Tokkatsu (Tokubetsu Katsudou) หรือ “กิจกรรมพิเศษเพื่อพัฒนาผู้เรียนแบบองค์รวม” เป็นนวัตกรรมทางการศึกษาจากประเทศญี่ปุ่นที่มุ่งเน้นการพัฒนานักเรียนในมิติต่าง ๆ นอกเหนือจากวิชาการ โดยให้ความสำคัญกับการพัฒนาทักษะทางสังคม อารมณ์ และจริยธรรม ผ่านบริบทกิจวัตรประจำวัน อาทิ การทำความสะอาดห้องเรียนและการฝึกแยกขยะ การประชุมและอภิปรายในชั้นเรียน กิจกรรมชุมนุม ตลอดจนการเคารพกฎจราจรและความปลอดภัย เพื่อสร้างต้นแบบความเป็นพลเมืองที่มีคุณภาพต่อสังคม
ED-KKU Welcomes First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan and MEXT Representative to Discuss “Tokkatsu” Strategy for Holistic Student Development
May 7, 2026 – Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University The Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarunee Samart, Associate Dean for Education, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornsawan Vongthatam, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattapon Meekaew, Assistant Dean for Network Management and International Affairs, joined by Asst. Prof. Dr. Watchara Suyara, Chair of the Japanese Language Teaching Program, and Ms. Nattaradee Pimsrising, Senior Professional Level Supervisor from the Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, welcomed Mr. Takamasa TANIMURA, First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Thailand, and Ms. Ai CHUMAN, Representative from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT). The meeting was held to discuss and exchange in-depth information regarding the implementation of Special Activities for holistic student development, known as “Tokkatsu.”
The objective of this visit was to gather information on the implementation of Tokkatsu within schools in Khon Kaen province and Khon Kaen University, where the concept has been tangibly integrated. MEXT is currently considering the promotion of positive aspects of Japanese-style education abroad to serve as a key guideline for international education directions in the future beyond 2030 (Post-2030). The discussion focused on three main pillars: 1) The relationship between Tokkatsu practices in the area and the supporting role of Khon Kaen University; 2) The background of Tokkatsu’s introduction into the Thai education system; and 3) The current status and future roadmap for national-level implementation.
Furthermore, the meeting highlighted the application of Tokkatsu in cultivating fundamental values of honesty and anti-corruption among youth. The insights gained from this discussion will serve as a crucial database for the Japanese government in further developing international holistic education frameworks.
Tokkatsu (Tokubetsu Katsudou) or “Special Activities for Holistic Student Development” is an educational innovation from Japan that emphasizes student development in various dimensions beyond academics. It prioritizes the growth of social, emotional, and ethical skills through daily routines, such as classroom cleaning and waste sorting, class meetings and discussions, club activities, as well as road safety and traffic rules compliance, to create high-quality citizens for society.
