มื่อวันที่ 22 ตุลาคม 2568 ที่ผ่านมา – สำนักงานกองทุนเพื่อความเสมอภาคทางการศึกษา (กสศ.) ได้ประกาศผลการคัดเลือกสถาบันการศึกษาเข้าร่วมโครงการ “ครูรัก(ษ์)ถิ่น” ปีการศึกษา 2569 อย่างเป็นทางการ โดยคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้รับพิจารณาคัดเลือกให้เข้าร่วมโครงการดังกล่าว ในหลักสูตรศึกษาศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาการศึกษาปฐมวัยและประถมศึกษา วิชาเอกคู่การศึกษาปฐมวัยและประถมศึกษา ซึ่งถือเป็นบทบาทสำคัญในการผลิตและบ่มเพาะครูเพื่อสังคมอย่างต่อเนื่อง
การได้รับคัดเลือกครั้งนี้เป็นผลมาจากการนำเสนอโครงการต่อคณะกรรมการ กสศ. เมื่อระหว่างวันที่ 5-6 ตุลาคม 2568 ที่ผ่านมา นำโดย รศ.ดร.อิศรา ก้านจักร คณบดีคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ พร้อมด้วย รศ.ดร.จารุณี ซามาตย์ รองคณบดีฝ่ายการศึกษา และ ศ.ดร.สุมาลี ชัยเจริญ ที่ปรึกษาคณบดีและประธานคณะกรรมการบริหารหลักสูตรศึกษาศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาการศึกษาปฐมวัยและประถมศึกษา รวมถึงคณาจารย์และเจ้าหน้าที่ผู้เกี่ยวข้อง ซึ่งได้นำเสนอแนวทางการบ่มเพาะครูคุณภาพกลับสู่บ้านเกิดเพื่อพัฒนาโรงเรียนให้พื้นที่ห่างไกล
โครงการ “ครูรัก(ษ์)ถิ่น” มีเป้าหมายในการค้นหา คัดเลือก และคัดกรองนักเรียนที่ขาดแคลนให้ได้มีโอกาสเข้าศึกษาในสถาบันผลิตครูชั้นนำที่พร้อมจะบ่มเพาะนักศึกษาให้มีความรู้ความสามารถทั้งในวิชาชีพครู มีจรรยาบรรณ อุดมการณ์ในวิชาชีพ เพื่อกลับไปพัฒนาการศึกษาในท้องถิ่นของตนเอง การดำเนินงานนี้จะช่วยลดความเหลื่อมล้ำทางการศึกษา และสร้างครูผู้เป็นกำลังสำคัญในการยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตและสังคมในพื้นที่ห่างไกลได้อย่างยั่งยืน
ความสำเร็จในครั้งนี้สอดคล้องกับวิสัยทัศน์และเป็นไปตามพันธกิจของคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ ในการผลิตบัณฑิต มีทักษะที่จำเป็นเพื่อสร้างคุณค่าให้กับสังคม โดยเฉพาะการพัฒนาการศึกษาในทุกช่วงวัย การเข้าร่วมโครงการ “ครูรัก(ษ์)ถิ่น” ยังตอบสนองเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ที่มุ่งเน้นการสร้างหลักประกันว่าทุกคนจะได้รับการศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพอย่างเท่าเทียมและส่งเสริมโอกาสในการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต เพื่อร่วมกันสร้างสรรค์สังคมแห่งการเรียนรู้ที่เติบโตไปพร้อมกับความยั่งยืนของประเทศ
Faculty of Education, KKU, Selected for “Kru Rak(k) Thin” Project 2026: Producing Quality Teachers for Local Development and Reducing Educational Disparity
October 22, 2025 – The Equitable Education Fund (EEF) officially announced the selection of educational institutions to participate in the “Kru Rak(k) Thin” (Local Teacher) Project for the academic year 2026. The Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, was selected for its Bachelor of Education program in Early Childhood and Primary Education, with a dual major in Early Childhood and Primary Education. This marks a significant role in continuously producing and nurturing teachers for society.
This selection is a result of a strong project proposal presented to the EEF committee between October 5-6, 2025. The presentation was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Kanjug, Dean of the Faculty of Education, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarunee Samart, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Sumalee Chaijaroen, Advisor to the Dean and Chair of the Bachelor of Education Program Committee in Early Childhood and Primary Education, including relevant faculty members and staff. They presented their vision and approach to nurturing quality teachers to return to their hometowns and develop schools in remote areas.
The “Kru Rak(k) Thin” Project aims to identify, select, and screen underprivileged students, providing them with the opportunity to study at leading teacher-producing institutions like the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University. The program is committed to nurturing students with both professional knowledge and strong ethical principles in teaching, enabling them to return and develop education in their local communities. This initiative will help reduce educational disparity and create influential teachers who can sustainably elevate the quality of life and society in remote areas.
This achievement aligns with the Faculty of Education’s vision and mission to produce graduates with essential skills to create value for society, especially in developing education for all age groups. Participation in the “Kru Rak(k) Thin” project also directly addresses the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Quality Education (SDG 4), which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, thus contributing to the creation of a learning society that grows sustainably with the nation.
