คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น สร้างความภาคภูมิใจอีกครั้ง หลังได้รับการจัดอันดับให้อยู่ในช่วง 401–500 ของโลก ในสาขา Education จากการจัดอันดับ Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2026 ซึ่งถือเป็นหนึ่งในระบบการจัดอันดับมหาวิทยาลัยที่ได้รับการยอมรับในระดับนานาชาติ และสะท้อนถึงคุณภาพทางวิชาการ การวิจัย และผลกระทบเชิงสังคมด้านการศึกษาอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
ผลการจัดอันดับดังกล่าวแสดงให้เห็นถึงความเข้มแข็งของคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ในหลายมิติสำคัญ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น คุณภาพการเรียนการสอน (Teaching) ที่เน้นการพัฒนาสมรรถนะผู้เรียนในศตวรรษที่ 21 การผลิตครูมืออาชีพที่มีความเข้าใจทั้งศาสตร์การสอน เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล และบริบทสังคมร่วมสมัย ตลอดจน ผลงานวิจัยด้านการศึกษา (Research) ที่มุ่งตอบโจทย์การปฏิรูปการศึกษา การพัฒนาสมรรถนะผู้เรียน และการประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีและปัญญาประดิษฐ์ทางการศึกษา
ในช่วงหลายปีที่ผ่านมา คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ได้ขับเคลื่อนยุทธศาสตร์อย่างต่อเนื่อง ภายใต้วิสัยทัศน์การเป็น คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ชั้นนำระดับอาเซี่ยนที่มุ่งเน้นนวัตกรรมการศึกษาเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ผ่านการพัฒนาหลักสูตรและวิธีการสอนที่สอดคล้องกับมาตรฐานสากล การสร้างแพลตฟอร์มการเรียนรู้และการประเมินสมรรถนะรูปแบบใหม่ การยกระดับศักยภาพอาจารย์และนักวิจัย รวมถึงการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับสถาบันชั้นนำทั้งในและต่างประเทศ
การได้รับการจัดอันดับใน Times Higher Education 2026 ไม่เพียงเป็นเครื่องยืนยันถึงศักยภาพของคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ในเวทีโลก แต่ยังเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการเดินหน้าสู่เป้าหมายการเป็น ศูนย์กลางด้านการผลิตและพัฒนาครูคุณภาพสูง รวมทั้งการสร้างนวัตกรรมการศึกษาของภูมิภาคอาเซียน ที่สามารถเชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้ งานวิจัย และนวัตกรรมไปสู่การพัฒนาการศึกษาอย่างยั่งยืน

Faculty of Education, KKU, Achieves Global Ranking in Times Higher Education 2026, Reflecting Excellence in Teacher Production and Educational Innovation, Aiming to be a Leading Faculty in ASEAN
The Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, has once again brought pride to the Thai education sector after being ranked in the 401–500 range globally in the Education subject by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2026. This is considered one of the internationally accepted university ranking systems. This success reflects academic quality, research excellence, and tangible social impact in education.
The ranking results demonstrate the strength of the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, in several key dimensions, particularly in Teaching quality, which emphasizes developing learner competencies for the 21st century. It focuses on producing professional teachers with deep understanding of pedagogy, digital technology, and contemporary social contexts. This is coupled with Research in education aimed at addressing education reform, learner competency development, and the application of artificial intelligence technology in education to improve quality of life.
Over the past years, the Faculty of Education has continuously driven organizational strategy under the vision of becoming a leading Faculty of Education in ASEAN focusing on educational innovation for sustainable development. This has been achieved through curriculum and teaching method development consistent with international standards, the creation of new learning platforms and competency assessment models, upgrading the potential of lecturers and researchers, and expanding academic cooperation networks with leading institutions both domestically and internationally.
Being ranked in the Times Higher Education 2026 is not only a confirmation of the potential of the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, on the global stage but also a significant step forward in moving towards the goal of being a center for high-quality teacher production and development. It also involves creating educational innovation in the ASEAN region that can connect knowledge, research, and innovation to sustainable educational development, driving academic leadership to create quality teachers, educators, and learning innovators ready to handle future changes and create a truly positive impact on Thai and global society.
