KKU Faculty of Education Students Win First Runner-Up in Higher Education Educational Innovation Competition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Student Union of the Faculty of Education, Chiang Mai University, organized an educational innovation competition in the format of a 3-day (32 hours in total) educational problem-solving marathon under the theme \u201cAgentic Play – Ground: Hack the Future of Interactive Learning Platforms.\u201d<\/strong> The event aimed to provide a space for higher education students and pre-service teachers to develop their potential in educational innovation by designing and developing prototypes that address challenges in the digital-era classroom. It also sought to enhance their competencies as innovators, cross-disciplinary teamwork skills, and communication skills for presenting innovative concepts to experts and the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Saturday, February 28, 2026, the Pitching Day was held, featuring competing teams from various educational institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Undergraduate students from the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, participating under the name Team SCAPE<\/strong>, joined the competition and successfully won the First Runner-Up<\/strong> award. Their winning project is a platform designed to promote learners’ analytical thinking through the application of artificial intelligence, developed under the concept: “Transforming Lesson Plans into Students’ Intellectual Journeys.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The innovation by Team SCAPE was built upon and further developed from their participation in the ED-KKU Startup Teacher Innovator Hackathon 2025<\/strong>. This incubation activity, hosted by the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, aims to encourage pre-service teachers to develop creative ideas and apply technology to elevate learning in modern classrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This success reflects the strong potential of Khon Kaen University\u2019s Faculty of Education students in developing educational innovations that respond to the changing landscape of 21st-century learning. It also marks another significant step toward developing future innovative teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
