November 25, 2025 \u2013 The Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, and Nam Phong Subdistrict Municipality held the signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at Nam Phong Phuriphat Municipal School. The goal of this agreement is to collaboratively drive and elevate the quality of education at Nam Phong Phuriphat Municipal School by applying educational innovations and curricula from the Khon Kaen University Demonstration School to develop both students and teachers to keep pace with the current world changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The signing ceremony was honored by the attendance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Kanjug, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, along with the executive committee. Furthermore, Mr. Pairat Thaweewarn, Mayor of Sila Town Municipality, shared his experiences as a successful pilot area. He cited the success of applying the KKU Demonstration Curriculum in Sila, which saw student numbers surge dramatically from 50-60 to over 230 in just over a year. This success demonstrates that this collaboration brings the “Demonstration Standard” to the local area, allowing citizens access to high-quality education free of charge, and helping reduce the burden of travel costs associated with studying in the city center. This initiative will create a municipal education prototype school that can serve as a model for other areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration is highly important for developing curricula and teaching management that considers individual student differences, helping students reach their full potential and creating long-term social value, particularly in ensuring equitable access to high-quality education.
