Faculty of Education, KKU, Discusses with Nam Phong Municipality, Preparing for Cooperation to Elevate Educational Quality at Nam Phong Phuriphat Municipal School, with KKU Demonstration School as a Model<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

November 3, 2025 –<\/strong> The Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Kanjug, Dean of the Faculty of Education, along with administrators, held an academic cooperation discussion with Mr. Kakkanet Khongcharoensuk, Mayor of Nam Phong Municipality, along with administrators from Nam Phong Municipality, Mr. Thepnakhon Namwong, Director of Nam Phong Phuriphat Municipal School, and teachers from Nam Phong Phuriphat Municipal School, at Nam Phong Municipality Office. The key objective of this discussion was to deliberate on approaches to develop and elevate the quality of teaching and learning management at Nam Phong Phuriphat Municipal School, by adopting Khon Kaen University Demonstration School, an innovative model school, as a guiding framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the discussion, administrators from both the Faculty of Education and Nam Phong Municipality visited Nam Phong Phuriphat Municipal School to survey the learning environment and gain a deep understanding of the school’s context. This will provide crucial information for planning future cooperation and determining appropriate development strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This discussion marks the beginning of a collaboration between a higher education institution and a local authority. It is an initiative that aligns with the Faculty of Education’s vision and its mission to provide academic services by transferring technology and knowledge to create value for society, including developing the Demonstration School as a model for innovation.
