Faculty of Education, KKU Joins Academic Seminar, Receives “Model Institution” Certificate for ‘Kru Rak Tin’ Project<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On August 27-28, 2025, the Faculty of Education at Khon Kaen University sent representatives from the ‘Kru Rak Tin’ (Teachers for Local Communities) project working group, led by Prof. Dr. Sumalee Chaijaroen, Advisor to the Dean and Chairperson of the Bachelor of Education Program in Early Childhood and Primary Education, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarunee Samart, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, and faculty members responsible for the project, to participate in the national academic seminar on “From Practice to Policy Proposals: Measures for Teacher Production and Development to Create Opportunities and Reduce Educational Disparities.” The event was organized by the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) and held at the Grand Hall 2, Rama Gardens Hotel in Bangkok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarunee Samart represented the Dean of the Faculty of Education to receive a certificate of honor recognizing the faculty as a “model institution in the production and development of teachers to create opportunities and reduce educational disparities according to the Equitable Education Fund Act, B.E. 2561 (2018), Section 5(6), through the implementation of the ‘Kru Rak Tin’ project.” This award reflects the faculty’s success and determination in producing quality teachers who are ready to work in remote areas and meet the country’s needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seminar served as a crucial platform for exchanging knowledge and drawing lessons from the country’s key teacher production projects, such as the ‘Kru Rak Tin’ Project, the ‘Phet Nai Tom’ Project, and the Development and Promotion of Science and Technology Talents Project (DPST). The goal was to collectively set a direction and advance policy proposals for developing a teacher production system that can sustainably reduce educational inequality. Additionally, a workshop was held to review lessons and plan the future direction of the ‘Kru Rak Tin’ project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participating in this meeting and receiving the award not only confirms the potential and excellence of the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, as a leading educational institution focused on creating educational innovations, but also aligns with its core mission of producing quality graduates with future-ready skills.
