Faculty of Education, KKU Hosts 2nd Thailand PSF Workshop, Driving Professional Lecturer Competency<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reinforcing its commitment to excellence in educational quality, the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, organized the 2nd workshop on “Developing Lecturers in Higher Education: Thailand-PSF.” The event aims to prepare faculty members to achieve the professional competencies outlined by the Thailand Professional Standards Framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was honored to have Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarunee Samart, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, preside over the opening ceremony. The workshop featured Assoc. Prof. Dr. Opas Kaosaiyaporn, Director of the Khunying Long Athakravisunthorn Learning Resources Center from Prince of Songkla University, as the guest speaker. He shared key knowledge and principles of the Thailand-PSF, a framework designed to assess and develop the competencies of lecturers in higher education, with an emphasis on maximizing the effectiveness of teaching and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarunee Samart stated, “The Faculty of Education places immense importance on the quality of our lecturers, as they are the heart of producing graduates and creating educational innovations. This workshop is organized to foster understanding and full readiness among our academic staff for the Thailand-PSF assessment process. This will lead to the development of learning management that truly aligns with the learning outcomes specified by the higher education qualifications standards.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This workshop’s key objective is to foster a deep understanding of the Thailand-PSF and serve as a platform for faculty members to develop into professional lecturers.
