Khon Kaen is one of the biggest city amongst 76 provinces of Thailand located in the northeastern region. It is 445 kilometers from the capital of Bangkok or 4-5 hours driving time by private car. Air-conditioned buses are available daily with a travel time of 6-7 hours. Rail transportation with daily and overnight services are another option while Khon Kaen airport is served by Thai Airways with three flights per day from Suvarnabhumi airport in Bangkok. |

| How to get to Faculty of Education |
| The Faculty of Education located on the KKU campus can be easily reached by using a private vehicle, a Tuk Tuk (three wheel taxi) or numerous small buses from the downtown area. Costs range from 10-50 Baht from the bus station, train terminal, department store or anywhere in the downtown area going directly to KKU, there may be extra charges for night time or longer distances. However the best choice for transport to KKU from the downtown area is the mini-bus or Song Thaew, try looking for Song Thaew No. 8 and No.16 which will cost just 10 Baht, both are regular services that go through the campus area stopping at various points, just ask the friendly driver to stop at the Faculty of Education. |
